The goal of these channels is to carry out the Institutional and Marketing communication of the Frulact Group’s activities, as well as the Recruitment process.

For this specific process, our Privacy Policy for Recruitment is available. It applies solely to the collection and processing of personal data which is carried out by the Frulact Group within the scope of the recruitment and selection process for the admission of Employees.

By using our services and navigating through our website, you are entrusting your information to us.

Therefore, and to help you understand the data we collect, why we collect it and what we do with your data, we outline our conduct in this Privacy Policy, which we ask you to read carefully.

    • Contact Form: By sending a message using our form available at Contacts, we collect only essential data so we can respond to your doubts or requests related to our services.
    • Information that we collect through your use our services on our Social Networks: Send message: By using the “send message” option, we only register the content and your identification with a view to processing the request so we can respond.
    • Interaction with Publications: By interacting with our publications by reacting with a “Like”, “Share” or “Comment”, for example, we only register your identification as a social network user.
    • The Frulact Group uses the personal data of Users/Visitors when they interact with the social network platforms using functions such as “Like” or “Share” to supply the users/visitors with advertisements and interact with them through third-party social networks. You can find out more about how these platforms work, the types of profile data that the Frulact Group obtains and opt to withdraw your consent, when reviewing the privacy policies of the social networks in question.

Our conduct is carefully controlled in processing the data:

  • We keep your personal data only for the period necessary to comply with the goals outlined in the previous point and to comply with the law. After reaching the maximum storage time, your personal data shall be anonymized or safely destroyed/deleted. Who do we share your data with?

We do not share your data with any external entity outside the Frulact Group, apart from the data collected in the Opportunities area that follow the rules defined in the Privacy Policy for Recruitment

What are your rights?

The Users/Visitors, as owners of the personal data, are entitled to the rights outlined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), namely:

  • Right of Access: right to obtain know which of your personal data are being processed, and if they are, to obtain information about them.

We focus on the security of your data in order to protect our users from unauthorised access, alteration or destruction of data or unauthorised disclosure of your information which is in our possession.

Therefore, we have adopted technical/organisational measures for information security and IT security, to protect your personal data, including policies, procedures and technological controls that ensure the protection of your personal data.

Your data will be processed within the European Union.

Transfer of data to third countries

The Frulact Group’s business activity may imply the transfer of your personal data to third countries, located outside the European Union or which do not belong to the European Economic Area, even if only sporadically and always within a relationship established with other services used by the Group.

In such situations, all the necessary and appropriate measures will be adopted to ensure your personal data are protected.

One of these situations concerns the presence of the Frulact Group on the social networks, where we have a limited influence on the processing of data carried out by the operators of these networks (e.g. relative to the management of members and management of the general information – profile). In situations where we have influence, we try to ensure, as far as possible, that the operators of the social networks act in accordance with the data privacy and protection requirements established by the GDPR. However, in many cases, we have no influence on the processing of the data carried out by operators and we have no clear knowledge of the data that are being processed in certain situations.

The operators of the social networks manage the entire IT infrastructure of the service, applying their own data safety, privacy and protection rules, and also maintain their own relationships with the users (insofar as the users are registered in their social network). Furthermore, the operators are fully responsible for all questions related to the data of the user profiles that the Frulact Group does not have access to.

In relation to the use of the social network platforms, your personal data shall be processed and stored in servers located in third countries, especially in the USA. For this processing, the operators of the social networks in question shall be the sole controllers, as established and defined in the above-mentioned policies.

Use of cookies and similar technology

To provide a better service to the users/visitors, we use cookies, which are small text files that are put on a hard disk by a web server. This technology is used by the Frulact Group mainly for:

  • Allowing us to find out who our visitors are, and as such to provide a better, safer and more customised service;
  • Learning about the performance of our website, allowing us to update and improve it to meet the expectations of our users/visitors. Each visitor corresponds to an individual cookie, thus guaranteeing the privacy and security of the data.
