Description
The agri-food sector is undergoing a transformation, within which a set of key issues is emerging. Addressing these issues is essential, as they reveal several gaps and pain points at the national level that must be tackled in order to ensure greater competitiveness of the sector, higher value added, increased exports of goods and services, as well as a reduction in imports.
The Mobilizing Agenda – Platform for Valorization, Industrialization and Commercial Innovation for the Agri-Food Sector (“VIIAFOOD”) seeks to promote the conditions for the structural transformation of the agri-food industry sector, in line with the objectives established in the Sectoral Pact for Competitiveness and Internationalization of the Agri-Food Sector, through the creation of a nationwide platform that fosters the development of innovative products, processes, and services addressing market opportunities and needs.
